In my opinion, very tasty.
No
Was there around 5:30pm and the host was very unfriendly. Not my 1st time having an issue with him. 4 years earlier he treated me disrespectfully and when I questioned his motive with me, he later approached my girlfriend at the time and accused me of calling him racist. Other than that, your staff is great and the food is really good.
Fantastic understanding friendly late night staff exceptional food. Went to a concert in Manhattan had a 9 hour layover waiting for my Transportation home the staff allowed me to relax charge my phone do what I needed to do for better part of four hours. Thanks
Food was good and plentiful. Service was great.
Good New York diner Reasonably priced. Service was great and fast. Worth going.
I ordered a mild pasta dish and some salad.. should have gone with soup! The portion sizes are massive, and the seating makes it so you can get away with eating alone. i was there with a large group, which they seem well equipped to serve.
What an awesome 👏 diner!! Love the retro styling, reminds me of The Jetsons or Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater Restaurant at Hollywood Studios Disney World #disneyworld . The service was great, greeted at the door like your supposed to be and seated right away on a busy Saturday morning! The waiter was very attentive and nice and the coffee host came around often and the food came over fast! Was delicious and plentiful, big portions and a good price compared to other diners in area. I just loved the vibe and look here, I couldn’t stop looking around at the decor. Will be back often now! Go for it! A.
Great food, wonderful atmosphere. Very nostalgic late 50's, early to mid 60's vibe. Beautiful and thought provoking wall art.
I was there to kill a little time before meeting up with my girlfriend. I had a hot cappuccino with some Bailey's in it and a bowl of their rice pudding. Both of which were very tasty and I will be sure to come back for some breakfast in the future. Friendly staff and priced accordingly to Manhattan standards.
Proper diner with a gigantic menu full of everything you can imagine. Lots of seating. Good prices.
Loved stopping here for breakfast on a Monday morning. The staff was very nice, the decor was appealing, and it was so clean! Food was delicious and it was served fast. Loved the homemade corned beef hash the most. This is what I expect every diner should strive to be.
This diner along 14th St is called Good Stuff Diner and from the food I'v ordered here is good stuff. The overly zealous interior with neon lighting and light cove is an first year architectural rookie mistake. Eat early is a Blue plate gerontology convention. That said, I found the food to be pretty decent as far as diner goes. It is an option for food if you want something easy.
They have good food options, large variety. It's an awesome place in a convenient area, open 24/7. They have pretty good strawberry cheesecake.
Sometimes you just want a diner, and it's great to have a solid local diner with lots of Good Stuff. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves at the Good Stuff Diner. The diner menu has everything you'd expect. Plenty of daily specials, burgers, breakfast, club sandwiches, soups, salads, expensive deluxe fare, and more. we sat in the front and were sun drenched, which felt great because it was 28 degrees outside. My chicken salad on rye toast was fresh and accompanied by a classic duo of pickle and really good cole slaw. Side of fries were hot and good. Person at the next table ordered the lumberjack breakfast I considered. With the egg and pancakes and all the breakfast meats. Quick service, nice waitress. Great location.
I have no idea why my friend prefers this place to Waverly Diner or Washington Square Diner. Both of those are far better and less expensive with nicer waitstaff. The vanilla milk shake here was incredibly overpriced for such a tiny glass. The chicken salad sandwich on a roll was ridiculous - I couldn't eat it as a sandwich and I was charged $1.00 extra for a lousy tomato! The waitress clearly could care less about her job - and the place was empty. The only plus is that they let us sit and talk for a long time. I would never return here the next time I am in NYC and don't recommend it - mediocre, overpriced food with very little ambiance.
Great Diner. Good prices, kid-friendly nice interior & friendly staff
Before Enjoying the play across the street at the Alchemical Studios "What You Can & Can Not Say During Interracial Sex" I had dinner here. The food was Amazing & the service was impeccable! After the play I came back for dessert. What a perfect evening!
It's wonderful to be able to eat breakfast for lunch today during Lent !! Had a Egg & Spinach wrap, it was amazing ! From the moment you walk thru the door everyone who works here is so attentive & welcoming. Our waiter was so nice & took care of us with a huge smile. He constantly checked to see if there was anything more he could do for us. I would absolutely recommend Good Stuff Diner to everybody that enjoys fabulous diner food served with a huge smile !!
I always get there pancake stack at all hours of the night, and they are always the same top notch quality.
When I'm in the mood for solid diner food, Good Stuff is one of my main diner to go to. Big portions, reliably prepared, and solid service. An added bonus is the large comfortable seating there. The booths are plush and the table arrangements are spread apart. This feels good especially after hitting the nightlife hard and your ears are still ringing from the loud music....try not to fall asleep! All the breakfast offerings are solid. One of my faves there is the chicken souvlaki. Yeah, it ain't Greece, but it is still yummy and the portions are ginormous!
What can I say?!? Late after dancing, it really hit the spot. Not nearly as cheap as outer boroughs but that's expected and obvious. Still rather yummy at all the unorthodox hours if the day, which is when you want your food to be it's yummiest! Right?!
The Good Part: The kitchen's great, had a great chow-down there. The Bad Part: Overbilling the check. Whether to chalk it up to incompetence or connivance I'm not certain.
I always go to Good Stuff Diner when I'm in NYC. The food is very good and I have never been disappointed in the breakfast. I have only had the breakfast there. It doesn't disappoint and the prices are very reasonable. Take time to stop by when you're in NYC!
one of the better diners I have dined at not just in Manhattan or NYC, but the entire tri-state area (NY,NJ,CN) period! They have absolutely EXCELLENT service providers as well has hosts and cooks. all the food is made to how you order and I haven't had a bad dish yet. my favorite thing about this place is their wonderful desert selections. The bread pudding is possibly the most tasty desert I've ever experienced having in my entire life. it's become a new family tradition between my fiancee and her father to meet up and come here now, it's that great of a place
Good Food, decent prices for the area, fast service. Turkey Burger Deluxe I had was delightful. The turkey burger was moist and the fries are just perfect cooked, appear to be hand cut. I loved this diner for the most part. But for the love that is all holy in this world. PLEASE, PLEASE keep the Women's bathroom clean and well stocked with needed amenities such as toilet paper & hand towels. Went to this place on Saturday night around 10:30pm, sat down and placed order decided to go to ladies room and it was a disaster. (See photos.) I had to run back to my table to snatch some napkins off my table in order to use the facilities. I have to take off a 2 stars. I know it is a Saturday night and all but there is enough staff for someone to occasionally check to if the bathroom needs toilet paper. Big pet peeve of mine -2 stars for this.
Nice place, plenty of seating at some hours and fast service along with plenty of food options. Lots of egg options. Great food and great large portions of sides. Friendly staff. Definitely recommend this place. Though the only downside is it’s expensive.
Open 24/7 which is great for 2am after party grubbing. Staff was friendly. The Chicken Fettuccini Basal Pesto was on point & delicious. Drink a little weak but tasted good. Will dine there again when I'm in the neighborhood.
This is one of the best diners in NYC. Their servers are very attentive. The food is great. The portions are good too. It’s a reliable go-to for dinner or late night grub.
We are really into diners. This one wasn't bad. I wish the had a better breakfast selection. Their pies and desserts looked incredible.
Great service and expansive menu. Service was quick, friendly, and safe—tables were socially distant, staff wore masks, and guests were required to follow local and establishment rules for phase 4 dining.
Classic diner feeling inside. Clean floors and good food. I ordered waffles which was cooked.
I’ve been coming to the Good Stuff Diner for years and have never never been disappointed. I had a yen for a BLT yesterday and my first bite was delicious. Overstuffed sandwich, really good coleslaw, good french fries, great fresh sour pickle! The waitstaff has always been great! Oh, It’s one of the few coffee shops in NYC that still have delicious strawberry shortcake!Love the hamburgers and their American or Swiss grilled cheese sandwiches too.
The place was packed and the food was great. You get a lot of food for the price. I will go back.
Been going to this diner since they opened. The waiters are friendly and professional. The food is always good and the portion sizes are large. Be prepared to take home left overs! I've never had to wait to be seated, but I usually go during low peak hours, midmorning to late afternoon.
As a longtime customer, I stopped by one night, was given a menu, then ignored for 30 minutes, at which point I left and went to another diner. Despite this, I returned to Good Stuff and told the owners what had happened. I acknowledge that one apologized, but the other one said it was my fault that I was kept waiting. Apparently, I was supposed to close my menu to indicate that I had made a selection. A customer should not be treated poorly, especially a regular customer. During these uncertain times, a business should not be rude to a customer who continues to patronize it. Keep in mind, the diner I went to after being ignored will welcome me back.
ordered from here for the first time and I totally fell in love with their food. Everything on their menu taste amazing.
Great diner food. Excellent breakfast and attentive staff. Would've been 5 stars but the French fries (an important part of the coffee shop experience) were a bit off today
Their food is really is some good stuff to eat. Totally worth a try if you haven't been here before. They're taking to go orders as of now.
The food came quick and absolutely delicious!! Like the name says it's some GOOD STUFF! Service was excellent, and they ran outside after I left to give me my cell phone which was a life saver!!
Great diner and friendly staff. I think our waitress was Rosa and she went above and beyond to make sure we had all we needed.the portions are huge which is what you expect from a diner. Will definitely be back if I'm in the area again.
Good food, friendly service. Come here all the time. Never had a meh meal. Matzoh ball soup is better than my mom's, and she knows her MB soup!
We miss you. Best diner in the city!
Service usually good if uneven depending on time of day. Along with diner fare, they have good vegetarian options. Don't expect gourmet quality. Love that they have a counter and stools which is a retro touch, as well as a full bar (no idea how good their drinks are). Consistent and reliable spot, takes credit cards and 24 hours so love it when the mood strikes.
Great Service! And love the food!-I highly recommend that you come here!!!
I had a matzah ball soup...it was a bit salty but tasty. Service was good, restaurant and restrooms were clean. Its across the street from the Path so it was conveniently located on my way home. I will be back I'm sure.
Very yummy food, with friendly staff and quick service. Portions are massive for what you pay, I would suggest against an appetizer if you plan to get an entree because even splitting everything we ended up leaving with extra. A nice generous pour on the drinks too, which is always a bonus.
These burgers were delish!! My father and I could not stop talking about them. Service was great from the minute we walked in. I definitely, recommend this place from staff and food.
I find this place to be a very hip throwback of a dinner. The atmosphere totally feels like a time warp. The prices are always reasonable and the food taste great!
Actually good food for a diner but kudos to the staff for pulling off a great experience with 20+ of us descending on them at once with our varied peculiar tastes. Somehow they made me feel like I got personal attention through it all via quick service, generous smiles and even joining in on our silliness.
Friendly waiter made us feel like family. The food portions are incredible!
The deluxe cheeseburger with French fries I ordered was amazing! The wait for delivery was not long at all either. Good Stuff really is all about the GOOD STUFF!
